CleanBC Better Homes Program — Up to $13,000
The CleanBC Better Homes Energy Savings Program offers the largest rebates available for BC homeowners, effective July 6, 2026:
- Up to $13,000 for a central ducted or 3+ head multi-split heat pump converting from oil, natural gas, or propane (up to $16,500 for combined space and water heating systems)
- Electric-heated homes (baseboard, radiant ceiling/floor, electric forced-air) qualify for up to $5,000 — this offer is only available at the lowest household income tier

- Heat pump must be installed by a certified contractor (CedarAir qualifies)
- Application must be submitted within 6 months of the installation invoice date

BC Hydro Home Renovation Rebate — Up to $4,000
BC Hydro offers rebates for homeowners who install a qualifying heat pump:
- $4,000 for a whole-home system (heats 80% or more of the home)
- $1,500 for a partial-home system (heats 50% or more)
- Available to BC Hydro customers in Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland
